Will You Join us for the Hull 10K?

Last year, thousands of people took part in the Hull 10K, including a team that ran in aid of Hull Homeless Community Project. This year’s edition takes place on Sunday 2nd June and we’re looking for people of all abilities who would like to get involved.

We have 33 spaces available, which come with a branded HHCP shirt (we’re also looking for businesses to sponsor these). It’s a great way to get fit, have some fun and raise crucial funds for our organisation, which will go toward a range of activity, such as moving individuals and families into independent living.

If you’d like to join our official team, all we ask is that you raise a minimum of £100 through any platforms you wish (we recommend websites such as JustGiving, as well as Facebook Donations). People can of course also take part independently and choose HHCP as their charity, which further supports our services.

The 2018 event saw people from all different backgrounds running on behalf of HHCP, including ex-homeless veterans, serving military, Hull City Ladies FC, parents, statutory service partners and newbie runners, all putting in the effort to raise money for people affected by homelessness, poverty and destitution.

The Asda Foundation Hull 10K takes runners through the heart of Hull’s historic city centre, setting off from and ending in Alfred Gelder Street and taking in sights that include The Deep, City Hall, Whitefriargate and many other attractive areas.

If you’re interested in running with us, sponsoring the shirts or supporting us in any other way, please email info@hullhomeless.co.uk or give us a call on 01482 231278.
